Blake Davis

Managing Director

Ask me about...
how my most embarrassing moment ended up in a book.

Blake Davis is a Managing Director at Prime Policy Group where he focuses on artificial intelligence, technology, national security, economic, and healthcare issues. He has spent over a decade guiding political, legislative, and communication strategies at the highest levels of government. Before joining Prime, Blake served in senior positions in Congress, the Executive Branch, the White House, and on federal campaigns around the country. He brings extensive political intelligence, risk advisory, policy and legislative experience, and deep bipartisan relationships to help clients to better understand, anticipate, and influence shifting regulatory and political landscapes in the U.S. and abroad.

Most recently, during his tenure at the White House, Blake served as a Senior Advisor to Vice President Kamala Harris, where he provided counsel on legislative and political matters and advised on the AI Task Force and Small Business Task Force. In the Executive Branch, Blake also guided nominees through Senate confirmation, counseled Cabinet Secretaries, and worked on and implemented artificial intelligence, technology, trade, economic, and agriculture policies.

As Chief of Staff to former Rep. Debbie Mucarsel-Powell (FL-26) and Rep. Josh Gottheimer (NJ-05), Blake handled issues on the House Financial Services Committee and Homeland Security Committee and worked on numerous pieces of bipartisan legislation. He also helped manage the Problem Solvers Caucus, the largest bipartisan caucus in Congress.

In the private sector, Blake served as a Special Advisor to an AI think tank, advising their leadership on AI policies that balanced economic innovation – ensuring U.S. companies can compete in a multi-trillion global market – and the numerous national security and societal impacts that AI poses for the United States. He is a member of Renew America Together, a bipartisan organization founded by General (ret) Wesley Clark that aims to reduce partisan divisions by revitalizing public and political discourse, and of former Transportation Secretary Rodney Slater’s Leadership Society.

Born and raised in Little Rock, Arkansas, Blake is a graduate of the University of Arkansas. He and his wife live in Alexandria, Virginia with their young son.
