Callie Barnard is a Client Executive at Prime Policy Group and the primary research team member for the healthcare practice. In this role, she monitors and analyzes legislation and federal regulations, coordinates and schedules client fly-ins, covers and provides detailed monitoring of congressional and agency hearings, and writes policy memoranda relevant to client interests. Additionally, Callie authors Prime’s weekly healthcare newsletter, Healthcare Today.
Before joining Prime, Callie interned for Senator Richard Burr (R-NC) and the North Carolina House of Representatives Rules Committee, gaining valuable perspectives into both state and federal policymaking. She also interned for a nonprofit focused on childhood food insecurity in Chapel Hill, NC.
Callie was born and raised in Wilson, NC. She graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science in 2021.
Callie is passionate about the health and education of children and dedicates her free time to volunteering for those causes. She currently resides in the Adams Morgan neighborhood of Washington, DC.
