Irving E. Daniels, Jr., Managing Director at Prime Policy Group, brings more than two decades of Washington financial services and political experience to help clients achieve their policy and practice goals before Congress, regulatory agencies, and the Executive Branch. Irving joins Prime with seasoned experience and expertise garnered from working on Capitol Hill, in city government, and for three leading financial services trade associations in senior executive policy positions.

Irving combines his substantive experience, and communications acumen with a bipartisan network of essential Washington relationships on Capitol Hill, the financial services regulatory agencies, and the Administration to strategically counsel and support our corporate clients.

Irving's career started as a Legislative Fellow for Congressman Charlie Rangel, who was Dean of the New York delegation, Chair of the Ways & Means Committee, and a member of the Congressional Black Caucus. After his fellowship, Irving was offered the position of Legislative Counsel for Congressman Floyd Flake on the House Banking Committee (now the Financial Services Committee). During his time on Capitol Hill and in the private sector, Irving was involved in the Dodd-Frank Act and several other major financial reform laws and regulation. Irving enjoys helping clients achieve their policy objectives through subject matter counsel, political strategy, media savvy and grassroots engagement.

He is a native Washingtonian, currently residing in the Historic Shaw/Le Droit Park neighborhood. His active lifestyle includes biking, hiking, Pilates reformer, and traveling.
