Sam Lane is the Research and Communications Manager for Prime Policy Group, where he works on a legislative portfolio that includes trade, tax, finance, transportation and infrastructure, and foreign relations policy.
In this role, Sam has developed written and oral interpretation of legislation and federal regulations, advocated directly for clients’ priorities to staff on Capitol Hill and in the Administration, and executed winning strategies for clients resulting in legislative victories.
In addition to his client work, Sam manages the research department at Prime, which is responsible for monitoring and providing detailed memoranda of congressional hearings, tracking legislation on the Hill and regulatory developments in the Administration, and authoring white papers and memoranda on legislative issues. Additionally, Sam oversees the firm’s fly-in practice.
With deep family roots in Texas, Sam graduated from the Texas Christian University with a Bachelor of Science in Political Science. He currently resides in Washington, DC’s Bloomingdale neighborhood.
