Ed Cox joins Prime Policy Group as a Director

Former Legislative Policy Advisor for Senate Finance Committee Chairman Orrin Hatch leaves the Hill for bipartisan government relations firm

Ed comes to Prime after serving as a Legislative Policy Advisor for Senate Finance Committee Chairman Orrin Hatch (R-UT). He will help lead the firm’s energy practice and expand the firm’s expertise in natural resources, environmental and agriculture policy.During his tenure in the Senate, Ed advised Senator Hatch on policy pertaining to energy and land management, among other issues, and was instrumental in the Senator’s efforts to pass legislation providing for a large-scale federal land and mineral exchange of over 100,000 acres in the State of Utah.
